I went to the gym and ran on the treadmill, to have a consistent pace.  I ran all 4 miles at a 9:31 pace.  In between each mile, I slowed down to walking pace for .10mile.  Next time, I will try to make it 1.5 miles at that pace before recovering.  I find this is the only way I can build up to longer distances without a break.  Any suggestions?

Ran 3 2.7 mile loops, not stopping during, slowing down to a walk at the start each time for about 100 feet.  I haven't mastered drinking and running without choking yet.

This is the most I've ran at once since my marathon in November, and more importantly, I ran the entire 11.5 continuously, no stopping or walking.  I've never made it past 5 miles doing that.
